If the truth be told ladies, we all have experienced similar issues. We all have been broken by life’s problems and disappointments. Moreover, we know of women who have been abused, misused and just down right hurt due to relationships gone bad. Many women are seeking for love and acceptance, but they are looking in all the wrong places. There are women who are married but feel isolated and rejected in their own homes….women who can barely make ends meet from day to day….women who don’t know what it means to really embrace true love.…women who are still haunted by those demons of the past and dirty secrets that their parents told them not to tell.…unfortunately “those demons” have landed in their adulthood, their singleness and marriages; as a result, the ability to embrace real love and true companionship is very difficult. They have learned to function in their dysfunctions. Depression, low self-esteem and lack of perseverance is now the norm.
And the list goes on and on…
But ladies, it is important that you know that God has a marvelous plan for your life. Before the foundation of the world, you were in the mind of God. His thoughts of you are of peace and not of evil for the purpose of giving you a future and a hope. It doesn’t matter how difficult your past or how bleak your future, you are destined to win. But you cannot do it alone.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 declares that “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up (her sister): but woe to (her) that is alone when (she) falleth; for (she) hath not another to help (her) up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevails against (her), two shall withstand (her); and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
Y.A.M.S. is a God-ordained and God-inspired network of sisters united by real life issues; coming together to find purpose, encouragement, hope, healing and restoration. Furthermore, Y.A.M.S. is a platform where women can walk in transparency by sharing their story of pain and promise; rejection and acceptance; failure and successes…and not be judged by those experiences. We enjoy powerful celebratory services of deliverance as well as break-out sessions focusing on “Living Single”, “Biblical Parenting in the 21st Century”, “Rebounding from Abuse”, “What God Has Joined Together”, “Mentorship”, “Discovering Purpose”, and more.
